Comic book writer/Letterer and now Founder/CEO of Multitude Comics, Travis Ware, has created a new world in comics. He created his own publishing company, Multitude Comics, that reaches the styles of Manga, Western (American) style, and Noir. He's known for his great martial arts scenes, passionate love interaction scenes, drama, and action-packed pages. His Sneak Peek Issue Anthology was released in 2017. Published by Multitude Comics, LLC.

He has also worked as Script Supervisor  and letterer on several client's Indie comics and graphic novels such as Jianke: The Last Swordsman, Indigo Moon, and Ten.

"People sometimes don't understand the work that goes into comic book creation. Yes, it looks good on paper with the action flying off the page or the snappy dialogue. But without that script, none of that would happen. The scriptwriters have to create that world that the hero lives in. Rather it's Gotham or Metropolis; we have to create the environment.

We have to work hand and hand with the artist to create that character that you that you love. The scriptwriter gives him/her backgrounds, emotions, and clothing. Not to mention they have to have jobs and a place to work. Clark Cent has the daily planet with his glasses and suit. He sits at his desk looking over articles he plans to write until he hears Lois Lane in deep trouble; with his super hearing. We create that.

We have to write which panel does Clark hear the screams or give him an excuse for him leaving a company meeting to stop a speeding train. Storytelling is angels, panel, gestures, close ups action and dialogue. We as writers have to lead the artist on a rollercoaster ride. But we also have to know when to back up and let the artist feel and see the vision on his/her own, also. We don't want to be too pushy. We love the creativity of a great artist.

I don't even want to get into when a writer is also the artist. They have enough on their plate to create what the hero is doing, yet alone have to draw it on the paper or computer screen. Even though, at the end of the day, we get our reward.  Seeing the reader engrossed in the thick slick pages of an action pack scene or a deep conversation of the drama.  I love what I do! I love writing for artist and myself.  And thank the fans for all their support, motivations, and inspirations. Wit out them and the wonderful and talented artist that makes my words come to life.

Don't get me wrong, I love comic books! I've been reading them ever since I was old enough to read.  I created "Wind & Fire" not in the classic hero comic book format, but more as a martial arts action movie, or maybe an anime movie. My characters are not recognized by an "S" or a lighting bolt on their chest. They don't shoot lasers out their eyes or make people tell the truth with a rope.  We have guns, knives, swords, and explosives. They use their own human senses as their powers!  I'm a filmmaker. To me, making a graphic novel is like making a movie.

If you have a good script you have to get the right crew for a film project.  Comic books are the same way.  You have to find the right script and artist to create the imaginary world your characters live in.  And just like a producer choosing a director for each film, I chose a different artist for each volume.  In other words, each novel will have an original look.

Though my characters are talented in their own special way, they are defined more by who they are and what they do. Nobody asked Jack Bauer where were his cape and cowl. Okay, Travis (Detective Wane) does have a Cobra headed cane sword, can call on his ancient martial arts samurai/ninja ancestor spirit (Master Wane) and has forensic eyesight.  But that's beside the point.  'Haha hah!'

The purpose of my 1st book, Wind & Fire: Sneak Peek Issue, is to show you a "behind the scenes" look at the creation of the series. It truly takes a whole team to make this series come alive. The artists from around the world are an integral part of that very idea. We each had to be on the "same page". To accomplish this endeavor, we dedicated ourselves completely. We emailed, we talked, and we crossed language barriers; to ensure the realization of this project.

It all started with a Ninja Master (Master Togi) that went vigilante on the streets of New York that I created in high school. It was a comic book (The Mauve Bomb) sold in high school that the character was created. I never knew that my character was driving the sales. I eventually learned the truth once my stories were canceled due to too much violence and their graphic nature. Hah!

Later, I also wanted to have a comic strip kind of like Dick Tracy, but I wanted to add a different twist. Since I was a martial artist and a fan of anime, I wanted the comic to have a manga feel to it. And who makes a comeback appearance, Master Togi as Detective Wane's Master. So in 1999, I brought the story back to what it needed to be. I wanted to give this long life dream a chance to resurface. Moreover, I believe there is a market for it now for a more mature audience to appreciate it. It's a unique story, so I said 'why not'?

Thanks for reading! Peace!"
